Caring for Your Heriluxe Hair

Raw human hair is an investment, and with the right care it will reward you for years. Follow these guidelines to protect and preserve your extensions or wig:

Washing

  • Wash every 1–2 weeks, or as needed, using a sulphate-free shampoo.
  • Always detangle gently from ends to roots before washing.
  • Use lukewarm water — never hot — to preserve the hair's natural moisture.
  • Follow with a deeply hydrating conditioner, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends.

Styling

  • Always apply a heat protectant before using any hot tools.
  • Keep heat tools below 200°C to maintain the hair's integrity over time.
  • Allow hair to air-dry where possible, or use a diffuser on a low heat setting.

Sleeping & Storage

  • Braid or loosely twist hair before sleeping to prevent tangling.
  • Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction and moisture loss.
  • Store wigs on a wig stand in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Colour & Chemical Services

  • Because our hair is raw and unprocessed, it can be coloured, bleached, and permed.
  • We always recommend consulting a professional colourist for best results.
  • Deep condition after any chemical service to restore moisture and elasticity.
